Its MAY

May is the craziest time of the year for me. I have been incredibly busy with photo editing and with just work in general. Its actually making me sick to my stomach and stressed out beyond belief. I am sorry for not posting in almost a month but I think that starting next month I will be starting www.aberazzi.com and setting up a blog on the site to keep people up to day with my current projects and stuff.

As for now here is a few things you've missed this past month of April and May...

ABERAZZI

Its true, Aberazzi has taken over my life. I have moved to Sharyland and started to just work like crazy out here doing as much as I can.

the only thing I have to show you, is this "headshot" that I took for a friend of mine today. She needed a new picture for a dance program she is the director for.

I am so sorry...

I am so sorry that it has been so long since I have posted a new blog!

Well lets see, where do I start. Well since my last post I have been incredibly busy with photo editing pictures for Melba's and some other Spring Break projects. I have also had to go to work and do some school photography here and there, which takes time. PLUS I have been helping my parents in their search for buying a house. The most exciting news though is that this past weekend while in McAllen. Basically to make a long story short, I am moving to the Upper Valley to live with Zar and Geo in the Cimarron.

In the past few weeks I have also decided that I will no longer be doing nightlife photography, fashion or band promos by the name Abe Robledo, but will go by Aberazzi. Its not much different but I think that sometimes using your own name as a photographer is just a bit uncreative. So, during Spring Break while I was shooting like crazy Monica of Monikapolitan thought up Aberazzi and bam now it has its own myspace and email account, soon a website.

So this weekend Aberazzi ended up having 2 shoots on Sunday and was at the Outwithme Party snapping away on Friday night as well.

Well, I MUST get back to the work.

Hardcore!

Lately I have decided to spend more time on being more open to different types of shows and supporting everyone. So I went out and helped with a hardcore show on Sunday and it was AWESOME! I was really impressed getting to see some very talented bands perform in McAllen at the Incubator.

I decided that I need to start really pushing forward and working hard on just getting myself out there and as much work as possible. I do not want to have any time off and just be consumed with work.

CHIODOS....

Wow, well I finally finished all my stuff for Melba's. I was able to go over to their school this morning and drop off all the proofs and even create a little custom ordering sheet for some of the parents.

So, everyone has been asking me whats happening because I actually stopped taking so many pictures. Well, my answer to everyone is I actually do take a lot of pictures still. I just don't really work on them because by the time I know it I have another shoot the next day and everything just gets thrown into archives.

I found a folder that has about 500 pictures from the Aiden, Powerspace, Ivoryline and some other bands, show. Only ONE picture has been edited and it was for Ivoryline. I also found a lot of pictures from an earlier show in Feb. that needs some editing. I just have tons of pictures on different hard drives that just need to be cleaned up and put on a blog.

SO, here is my promise to everyone...I PROMISE to go crazy and take TONS of pictures and edit them as soon as I finish taking them. Be prepared to see me everywhere!

Business as always...

Like I said in my last post I have been so busy. I have been working on all the pictures for Melba's. I started last week on Wednesday, shooting at the dance school. All in all it went really well, everything was smooth and we finished everyday on time. The post production work went really good too, I didn't really have to do much cropping and editing since I shot all the pictures in a controlled area. Now I am just sitting here at home waiting till around 7pm for the lab to open up so I can go and have all the proofs printed and then start making all the envelopes.

On Friday night I went to DGE's Take Action Tour in McAllen and it was INSANE...
